What this AI game generator supports

  • Input: one plain-English sentence, up to 240 characters. No file upload, no account.
  • Game types: shooter, collector, survival dodger — chosen automatically from your sentence, or set by hand.
  • Visual styles: neon, retro pixel, minimal, fantasy, sci-fi, horror, cozy.
  • Difficulty: easy, normal, hard — changes enemy speed, spawn pressure, and how much health you start with.
  • Extras: power-ups, a countdown timer, and a higher enemy count.
  • Devices: any modern desktop or mobile browser. Keyboard and touch are both supported.

What you actually get

A single, self-contained game that runs on a canvas right on this page: a player you steer, hazards that move and can hurt you, a scoring rule, a win condition and a lose condition, plus a restart button. Every run is built from your sentence — theme, palette, objective wording, and the numbers that drive difficulty all come from your input. Nothing is a canned demo.

Press Copy brief to copy a plain-text summary of the game you just got: its title, type, style, objective, win condition and controls.

Limits and boundaries — read this before you judge the output

  • 2D only. Games are flat, top-down canvas scenes. There is no 3D, no physics engine, no sprite art pipeline.
  • Single player only. No multiplayer, no lobbies, no leaderboards.
  • No asset generation. Shapes, colours and type are generated from your prompt; there are no AI-illustrated sprites, music or voice.
  • Session-only. Nothing is saved. Reload the page and the game is gone — that is deliberate, so there is no account and no cookie wall.
  • Language interpretation is best-effort. The parser reads genre, theme, style and difficulty cues. An unusual sentence can land on a generic result; use the dropdowns to force a choice.
  • Rules are simple by design. You get one objective, one hazard type and one scoring rule. Complex requests are simplified rather than half-implemented.

FAQ

Is this a free AI game maker?
Yes. There is no sign-up, no credit card and no download. The generator runs in your browser.
How is this different from other AI game creators?
Most pages in this category never tell you what the output actually is. Here the boundaries are written on the page: 2D, single player, session-only, simple rules — and the result panel shows the exact spec that was generated.
Can I make a game from text without coding?
Yes. You write one sentence, you get a playable game. You never see or touch code.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. Drag anywhere on the game to move; tap to shoot in shooter mode. The layout collapses to one column and nothing overflows sideways.
Can I export the game?
Not yet. Today you can copy a text brief of the game. File export is not implemented, and it is not claimed anywhere on this page.
Is my prompt stored?
No. The page keeps your sentence in memory for the current tab only, so the game can be rebuilt on restart. It is never written to disk or to local storage. To interpret your sentence it is sent as a single text request to a third-party language model at text.pollinations.ai (Pollinations) — it is not processed on your device alone. If that request fails, the game is built entirely inside your browser instead. The privacy page spells this out in full.
